A village by the river, close to the city
Ouder-Amstel is the municipality just south-east of Amsterdam. It has two very different centres. Ouderkerk aan de Amstel is an old village on the River Amstel, with houses strung along the dyke, detached homes and open polder around it. Duivendrecht borders Amsterdam-Zuidoost and the Watergraafsmeer and feels more urban, with terraced houses and flats.
Both are minutes from the A2, A9 and A10. Since we deliver and install in Amsterdam every day, getting to Ouder-Amstel is straightforward.

Fencing for gardens, driveways and land
In central Amsterdam most of our work is on balconies and roof terraces. Around Ouderkerk it is more often at ground level.
Homes along the river tend to want a boundary that feels secure without blocking the view of the water. Ornamental steel fencing with vertical bars does that well. Because our steel is galvanised first and powder coated afterwards, it is made to cope with damp riverside conditions.
Detached houses and farmhouses often need a wide driveway gate, built in the same style as the fence beside it. Around paddocks and fields, practical mesh fencing usually makes more sense.
Duivendrecht is closer to a city job: garden boundaries for terraced homes, balcony railings for flats.
Ouderkerk has a historic village centre. If you plan anything on the street side, check with the municipality of Ouder-Amstel first. We do not advise on permits.

Installation and payment
Rural plots usually have room for our van to get close, which helps with long fence runs and heavy gates. Posts can go into the ground or be fixed to a wall or base plate. If we install, we survey first and send a final quote with drawing. Prefer to install yourself? We deliver free of charge with our own driver. Lead time is 6 to 8 weeks, 8 to 10 in July to September. Payment is either in full on invoice beforehand, or 70% upfront and 30% after installation.
